Our new apartment!

Alive!
Hello again (after a ridiculously long break)!
Since you heard from me last I have moved to the fantastic country called Japan.
We started our journey on Monday and when I said goodbye to my family I realized we were the only ones not crying. Does that make us a cold hearted family or just worldly? (We have so much family everywhere in the world that we regularly keep in touch with anyway, now we just add one more.) I took a later flight than Johanna and Sofia and arrived at Stockholm, Arlanda 30 minutes after them. After a meal and some tax-free shopping (I bought a perfume that smells delicious!) we grabbed our next flight to Frankfurt that I completely slept through. There we got lost. Not funny.
Dena goes "PEACE"; Sofia goes "Nooo!"
On our third flight to Shanghai, we made ourselves comfortable for an 11 hour trip. Again, not funny. The airport was big. Really, really big. But pretty.
Crooked parking.
After some time and snacks we were finally ready for are fourth and final flight. And then, we landed on Japanese soil. Osaka. The first thing we saw was a giant sign with the text:
Welcome to Japan. Panasonic, Ideas for life.
Really?
There we came across some annoying troubles. We had no way of getting away from the airport. The ride we were supposed to have couldn't come. *Insert every swearword, in every language you know*
We asked around and realized just how expensive a taxi would be. In the end we managed to take a bus and after about an hour we arrived somewhere. The hotel we were staying at was close but our bags were heavy and we were so tired so we decided to take a taxi. Except the drivers refused to help us. Damn them. So we started walking. I say, if you are wondering whether to buy a suitcase with two or four wheels, go with four! They are a lifesaver. You don't have to drag, just push. The hotel was pretty, nice, comfortable and cheap. A perfect combination. (We are unfortunately forced to go back, 'cus I forgot some stuff.)
Stuff. Lots and lots of stuff.
Pose.
Night view.
Breakfast. American style?
Contacting my family and friends.
After some well-deserved sleep we wandered away to try and find our way to Kyoto city. Long trip short, we made it. We now had to get to the office of our real-estate agent. Again we made it. Signed some contracts and then got driven to our new apartment. After a while we went out sightseeing. We found our school and it was huge! We found a 100 yen store, an arcade hall and a manga café with free Wi-Fi. Where we are currently sitting in, writhing. The woman working here doesn’t speak any English but Johanna managed to show some Japanese skills to get some information.
Road to school.
Yawn.
Our future school.
We then went to the supermarket to get some dinner and the supermarket was in a shopping mall type of building so while there we decided to check the rest out. There were so much stuff my eyes were crossing and whenever I turned everything got blurry and it took about 6-7 seconds before my eyes focused. It got so bad at some point I honestly had to grab Johanna’s arm to not fall over. (I remember wondering if this was how it felt if you needed glasses.)
Dinner on the floor.
Unfortunately since our apartment has no furniture (we didn't have time to buy any) we had to sleep on the floor. I was fine and out like a light in about 5 seconds of lying down but from the complaints I think my friends had a bit of a harder time. :D
I woke up about four in the morning wide awake and decided to start unpacking which Johanna and Sofia did when I was snoozing away last night. Apparently they were really loud, banging everything around. When I sleep, I sleep like the dead. Then Johanna woke and we decided to go on a walk. Half way back home I started getting so hungry, so we stopped at a convenient store and I finally got to taste a true Japanese "nikuman". It's like a boiled ball of dough with a meaty center. It was delicious!

Today we are gonna do a bunch of boring stuff, but tomorrow we are going back to Osaka and just enjoy ourselves (and get my stuff back from the hotel).
Talk to you soon.
Busy, busy week...
Have had so much to do and have had so much fun! Will have to recap the entire week in sections, but now I'm traveling home to do some organizing. Visited one of my favorite stores earlier today and bought some simple but important stuff.
"You've never looked more beautiful darling."
Today was awesome! Started of with me, Emma and Sofia watching the ever great X-Men: First Class. It was funny. We laughed and pointed out every gay scene (Hint: at least every scene with Charles and Erik together) and told the life story (meeting-love-marrige-trouble-divorce) of Professor X and Magneto to the TV screen. Afterwards we went to Ica Maxi to by some sweets and while munching on them we randomly burst into song. Songs from Team America were heard, yes.
Highlight of the day: Watching a deleted scene form X-M:FC containing Michael Fassbender in drag.
Scroll down and hit play.

Enjoy!
P.S. Where can I find that dress?
Hurry little children, Run this way, I have got a beast at bay
X-Men: First Class, I don't need more reasons to obsess about you. Hadn't noticed this song as much as the rest of the soundtrack but now it's stuck in my head and WONT LEAVE!
But damn it, it's good!
I Love My Dad
Yay!

I Love Ice Cream
When you're used to it, it somehow hurts less...
Horrible start on the new week after the awesome weekend I've had. Had a dentist appointment at 7:30 to fix something that I don't really know what it was considering I was falling asleep as the woman went on and on and on. She started of by giving me some anesthetics which didn't work, so she gave me some more. After going to the dentist every five weeks for two and a half years all the nervousness for these visits disappear, even when you know it's gonna hurt, and you don't really feel the needle. Lucky for me, since it still didn't work and she gave me more. And more. And more. And more. Six shots and it finally started to work. One hour and 20 minutes later of barely staying awake I was done. Unfortunately that was also when all the shots decided to work and take the feeling of the entire right side of my face. I'm so numb that on my way home I had to constantly check if my headphone was in because I CAN'T FEEL THE INSIDE OF MY EAR! I can't feel anything when I scratch my forehead. Thats how much she gave me.
I'm currently wondering if I would feel anything if I bit my lip off. Decided not to do it considering the clean up.
By the way, have you ever tried to whistle with half your face off?
It doesn't work.
The wheels on the buss goes round and round, round and round...
Walked all the way into town today. It's me we're talking about so that's worth some applauds. Took the bus from Vasaplan to Ersmark where I had forgotten something at Johanna's. We had time to talk for five minutes, were Johanna showed/explained some really cool nail-art techniques (I'm not that interested (read: patient) for it but it's still pretty cool the things you can do) before I had to run to the bus. At the bank I got disappointed for the fourth time in two weeks and dragged my ass around for an hour before my dad picked me up. Died a little when I came home and am now wide awake!
PS. Damn it Johanna, I really, really want BATMAN nails now.
